Understanding Your Vehicle Roof Load
You can find your vehicle roof load capacity in your vehicle manual. The roof load capacity of your vehicle must be greater than the weight of the TentBox you’re putting on top. For the TentBox Classic Roof Tent, your roof load capacity must be a minimum of 65kg.
It is also important to note that your listed vehicle roof load limit is for a dynamic load, which means the maximum recommended roof load while the vehicle is being driven. When your vehicle is stationary, your vehicle can take 5x more load weight – this is called static load. In other words, there is no need to worry about the added weight of people inside your TentBox, as they will only be inside when your vehicle is stationary. There are many more forces applied on a vehicle when it’s being driven (breaking, turning, hitting bumps in the road), which is why there is such a big difference between dynamic and static loads.

At Aim Outdoors, we work closely with our suppliers to ensure a wide range of Tentbox products are available to you. To streamline the delivery process, most orders will be dispatched directly from our suppliers’ warehouses. Rest assured; this will not cause any delays in receiving your order when placed through our website. On each product page, you will find an estimated despatch date to provide you with an indication of when the product is expected to be ready for shipment. To offer you added convenience, Tentbox products are dispatched with FREE delivery.
Returns:
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you decide that the product is not suitable for your needs, you can return it within 30 days of the delivery date. Please ensure that the returned items are unused and in their original packaging. For small goods, return shipping costs will be at your expense. If you are returning a Tentbox, we will arrange the collection for you using our delivery partner. The collection cost of £75 will be deducted from your refund. Depending on the nature of the issue, we will either arrange for collection of the product or facilitate a swap. come with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. For Products in the roof tent category, we offer an additional 3-year extended warranty for defective materials and workmanship, provided such defects arise during normal use conditions and provided the Products have only been used as intended.
